W. Mae Brown of Cleveland, Ohio travels to Macon, Georgia to Present Underground Railroad and Slavery Communication Tools to a strong audience of 50+ at Greater Lizzieboro Baptist Church.

W. Mae Brown, older sister and long time supporter of the author "Are you smarter than a Slave, A Lesson for the Next Generation", Barbara Tolliver Rodgers, traveled to Macon to support the Lizzieboro Baptist Church Black History Program.
"I'm grateful and honored that Mae traveled hundreds of miles to
support this program" says Barbara Rodgers, Black History Month Co-Presenter.

"She did a wonderful job and I'm very proud of my big sister" "I'm proud of all of my sisters and brothers" she explained!

The Lizzieboro Black History Month Program was an inspiration to complete the Book, "Are you smarter than a slave"?

Book Description:

The quilts in this book were used in the Underground Railroad escape to the North and into Canada. Mama made some of these quilts and quilted some of them in the fan style similar to some of the slave quilts I had seen in pictures.
